The Choir and Ensemble of the Cagayan State University under the direction of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs Fr. Aquino has visited Malaysia, Macau, Busan City, South Korea and Rome, among others. The CSU choir performed throughout the country and performed with the Santo Tomas University Symphony Orchestra.

The newly elected chairman of the CSU is the honorary chairman. Romeo R. Quilang, Ph.D. He was appointed CSU chairman after previously being president of Isabela State University. He took office as Perez’s successor when his four-year term expired in 2016.
The terrain was rough and we had to navigate turbulent waters, but we are strong-willed and God was gracious. We have made progress and I am encouraged by the fact that Cagayano can be proud of Cagayan State University and its achievements.
On 3 January 1979, Dr. Manuel T. Corpus of the University of the Philippines, Davao City, took over the leadership of the university. Various officers were appointed to act in the capacity derived from the two state colleges (CVCAT and NLSCA). On January 5, 1979, the first staff meeting was held at which a committee was organized to form the core of the administration of the State University of Cagayan.
Cagayan State University has carved out its own niche in the global academic community. It has been recognised by the entire region and the nation as a credible and respected university centre in northern Luzon. The university is striving to improve its results to date and to show that it has a head start in education.
Board members: The Chairman has been Honorary Chairman since November 2018. Urdujah A. Tejada, president of Cagayan State University, member of the Hons. Francis Joseph G. Escudero, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education, the Arts and Culture, Member of the hon. Lilian A. Las Llagas, Commissioner of the Higher Education Commission, and the Vice-Chair are H.O. Randolph Ting, chairman of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education and the Hon.
The Higher Education Commission (CHE), established by RA 7722 in 1994, granted Cagayan State University permission to operate the College of Medicine and Surgery with state approval. A team consisting of representatives of the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges Foundation (APMCF) and the Ministry of Health examined the CHE. The first group of medical graduates, eight students, was awarded a doctor of medicine. The college was opened by Dr. Gilberto Gamez-Cagayano, former dean of the UST College of Medicine and renowned neurologist, as the first dean with eight (8) faculties and M. Ember, twenty-one (21) freshmen.

The Choral Ensemble of the Cagayan State University under the direction of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Ms. The university has Wi-Fi access for all its students and professors in the E-Library, which is accessible to all students and professors on campus. It is the only university on the Tuguegarao campus that has its own extensive Jeepney transportation system due to its geographical location. Those who use jeepneys can also use tricycles.
RMC has served you very well over the last 10 years. Many Indian students studying at the university have been sent to the RMC and our coordinators are always available to help and guide you. Over the years, I have tried to gain access to RMCs at all levels to give you more and more opportunities to achieve your goals.
The dean and campus executive officer recommend that the university president accept the notice. In case of approval, the University Coordinator for Foreign Student Affairs, in coordination with the University Coordinator for Foreign Student Content, issues the admission notice for qualified applicants. The College will proceed with the assessment of the student as soon as proper confirmation has been given. If the coordinator takes note of the communication, the President approves it.
Cagayan State University (CSU) shares its historical contribution to the development of higher education in the Philippines. It is the first and only comprehensive state higher education institution in Cagayan. Signed on 11 June 1978, Presidential Decree 1436 created the CSU by merging two existing state colleges, the CAGayan Valley College of Arts and Trades (CVCAT) in Tuguegarao and the Northern Luzon State College of Agriculture (NLSCA) in Piat.
